Hi, I’m Mikel "Rodie" Rodenberg — the founder of Parable Talent.​ After more than a decade helping companies grow by connecting them with the right talent, I’ve come to believe that recruiting is more than a transaction — it’s about purpose. It’s about story. It’s about people.

I launched Parable Talent not just as a business, but as a reflection of what I’ve always believed: every person has a story, and every story has purpose. The name "Parable" comes from that idea — that our journeys, with all their twists and turns, are meaningful and worth telling.​

Before entering the workforce, I was a Division 1 athlete as a Pitcher. I love healthy competition and strive to get better every day — even outside of sports or fitness. I spent over 12 years with the top recruiting firms in the world, working my way up from recruiter to senior executive. That experience shaped not just my professional skills, but my perspective on leadership, growth, and what it means to truly serve people — both clients and candidates.

But... I’m more than my resume... ​I’m a believer, husband, dad, avid traveler, sports fan and find comfort in taking time to pause, reflect, and listen. Some of my best ideas start outside the office, and take root from a quiet walk, time with my family, or in the middle of a late-night snack.​
